[00:00:00.0]
OK let's go ahead and work with an image libraries and samples.
[00:00:06.0]
If you go to the File menu, you can open up a sample. And you can choose the sample file,
[00:00:17.0]
and then it'll import the sample: it's importing it slide-by-slide into Keynote.
[00:00:23.0]
All the data and images are being imported. And of course, finally Keynote will open up the sample file, and there you go.
[00:00:32.0]
Now, this little dialog that pops up means that the sample file has fonts that are not installed on your machine.
[00:00:41.0]
You could just click OK to bypass this.
[00:00:43.0]
Here are your slides within your project.
[00:00:50.0]
These are slides that are created, and you can take a look at the charts that are here.
[00:00:57.0]
The objects with transparency, they are transparent overlapping, and this date here.
[00:01:06.0]
It says December 1st, and of course we have December 8th.
[00:01:09.0]
You can actually double click this and actually change it.
[00:01:11.0]
We'll change this to November. And here are some more pictures, some slides, and a Q&A.
[00:01:24.0]
And this is just a sample that you can check out and see how it's designed.
[00:01:30.0]
So you can model and adopt some ideas.
[00:01:32.0]
Here are some flags, and you can move your slide around.
[00:01:37.0]
You could indent your slides, and a good reason why you would want to indent your slides is
[00:01:42.0]
to understand that there's information that has to do with the previous slide before it.
[00:01:50.0]
And that they are relative - it could be the supporting points.
[00:01:55.0]
And you collapse all your slides.
[00:01:58.0]
If you go to the file menu now,
[00:02:02.0]
we can open up the image library.
[00:02:05.0]
Here's the image library, and you can pick and choose any one you like.
[00:02:15.0]
Now I'm importing a Keynote file that contains images, and it's used as an image library.
[00:02:24.0]
You can cut and paste the images from the image library file.
[00:02:29.0]
Here's a beautiful picture of a skyscraper.
[00:02:35.0]
Here's some gears, a road, a road with some clouds,
[00:02:43.0]
space shuttle, architecture, stock market, and some more photos - on and on.
[00:02:58.0]
These photos are very helpful.
[00:03:03.0]
If we go to File menu again, we can open up another image library, which again is another Keynote file.
[00:03:09.0]
We'll go ahead and select the next one. And now it'll go ahead and import this Keynote file or open this Keynote file,
[00:03:20.0]
where you can see the images that you wish to use.
[00:03:23.0]
Here is a Keynote file with symbols.
[00:03:26.0]
And again we have a font dialog box -
[00:03:27.0]
we can bypass that.
[00:03:29.0]
So you see, image libraries are rather useful.
[00:03:33.0]
[00:03:34.0]
